In 2001, Digi Consult Inc., a Los Angeles tax credit specialty group formed out of one of the Big Four firms to specialize in large tax savings for mid-size companies. That same year, a CFO, who grew his company 1,000% and took it public, retired to start “Shelter Island Solutions,” which reduced overhead expenses for mid-size companies. In 2001, these two companies merged to form a unique and highly potent tax credit and cost specialty firm called “DCI Solutions”.
